HP Elite x360 14" OLED 2-in-1 Laptop

This HP Elite x360 1040 model shares the same 14-inch OLED QHD+ display and Core Ultra 7 processor as the original. It also retains the 32GB of RAM and 512GB SSD configuration. The primary difference lies in the branding and specific SKU, but the core specifications remain identical. You get the same 360-degree hinge, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and Windows 11 Pro. If you are looking for a direct equivalent from the same line, this variant offers the same premium OLED visuals and business-grade performance. It is suitable for users who want the exact same hardware but perhaps encounter different stock availability or minor listing variations. The weight and dimensions are also the same at 3.05 pounds.

The display is WUXGA resolution, which is lower than the original's 2880 x 1800 OLED panel. It uses an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, slightly less powerful than the Ultra 7 in the original. At 3.06 pounds, it is nearly identical in weight. This model is better for users who prioritize large file storage and portability over high-end multitasking memory and screen sharpness. The display is WUXGA resolution, which is lower than the original's high-res OLED panel. It weighs 3.61 pounds, making it noticeably heavier than the original's 3.05 pounds. This laptop is designed for students and business users who value OLED visuals and ample storage over raw processing power and minimal weight. It retains the 2-in-1 form factor and Windows 11 Pro, providing a versatile experience for classroom or office use.

The processor is not explicitly listed, but the focus is on substantial capacity for multitasking. It weighs 3.1 pounds, which is very close to the original. This device is a traditional clamshell laptop, not a 2-in-1, so you lose the tablet and tent modes. It is ideal for business users who prioritize RAM and storage capacity over display quality and versatility. The build is durable, and it runs Windows 11 Pro, making it a robust tool for enterprise workflows where screen touch features are less critical.

It includes 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, providing double the storage but half the RAM of the original. The display is Full HD resolution, which is lower than the original's OLED panel. It weighs 3 pounds, slightly lighter than the original. This model is suited for business users who prioritize storage capacity and AMD processing power over maximum RAM or high-brightness screens. It weighs 3.06 pounds, nearly identical to the original. This device is a traditional clamshell laptop, lacking the 2-in-1 versatility of the HP Elite x360.
