The EliteBook 840 is a traditional clamshell design. It offers a fixed keyboard layout. Choose the 2-in-1 if you value flexibility. Stick with the clamshell for standard typing workflows. The form factor impacts portability and use cases significantly.

Review physical dimensions

The EliteBook 840 is smaller at 12.4 inches long. It weighs only 3.13 pounds. The smaller laptop fits easily into standard bags. Larger screens offer more viewing area. Smaller units enhance mobility. Check these dimensions to ensure the device fits your lifestyle and transport requirements.

Consider intended use

Match the laptop to your primary tasks. The EliteBook 840 is labeled for business use. It targets professionals needing portable power. The OmniBook 7 Flip suits users needing large screens.
